Piccione Development

Matthew Piccione, principal of Piccione Development, having been in the real estate, construction, and development business in the Greater Boston suburbs for 20 years, has recently turned his time and attention to Back Bay and Beacon Hill, where he has renovated buildings to his own exceptionally high standards. During his building projects, Mr. Piccione takes great care to preserve the antiquity of homes, while adapting them to the lifestyle today’s city dwellers desire. He uses the finest quality building materials and the most modern systems, but rather than strip grand old homes of their solid and charming original details, he often restores the elements that are intact and incorporates them into his new creations. In instances where the original architectural features are not salvageable, he recreates them to perfection. In the case of 45-47 Commonwealth Avenue, Mr. Piccione has returned these two once-grand mansions to the elegance that had eluded them in recent times. Their presence now graces Commonwealth Avenue as was originally intended.

In this project, as in a 5 unit building on Beacon Hill, and a recent 3 unit renovation in Back Bay, the obvious pride that he has in his projects is reflected in the beautiful homes he creates.
